Pigeonholed

The last strip:

> Hey Pidgey? How do you kill two birds with one stone?

> I actually don't know Steve...

* (Stone says: The end of Mojozone)

> That's how :)

**Note from the creator -

I really did feel bad bout killing them like that o_o ... but it had always been my intention to 'kill' off the birds when the project was done, didn't know it would feel so crappy though, rest in peace Pigeonholed :'(

So this is my last cartoon, and the last time for a long while that I think bout birds, especially pigeons… don’t get me wrong Pidgey and Steve, I love you guys, but the time has come to shut down. This is the end of Mojozone, the end of the pain-in-the-butt project we were all suckered into doing, and the end of the spending so much cash at the Matrix and struggling for hours to find a parking.

Coming here at first was a nightmare for most of us first year film students, and having to deal with such an enormous campus with so many people, where you trek for days to find your car (that is if you actually found parking) and feeling as alone as a celery stick in an ice cream bowl if you wonder around by yourself, was quite daunting and at times too much for our little heads to handle. But such feelings of intense isolation pass once you penetrate the thick skin of the campus clicks and find your place in the world, settling into your new environment with the help of new friends and a deck of cards.

One falls in love with a place and its people too easily, and right now this one is dreading the thought of leaving. So many good friends made, crushes crushed upon, and undesirables ignored; it’s going to be hard to get out of the routine of coming to Wits everyday and seeing you all.

So this is my goodbye, to you, the people, my friends that made it worthwhile waking up and coming to this big, foreign play ground everyday. Good things never last, but at least I’ll have the memories of my time spent here and for a change, most are good and by far outweigh the bad. I will miss you guys, there’s one or two in particular whom I’ll miss with my entire being, but luckily you’re only a phone call away, and if you want to be specific, 1.8 kilometers. And there will always be Kitchener’s.

And now I say, to conclude this little farewell, leave you all on a positive note:
Believe in what you want, cause no philosophy or science student, no matter how big their mouths are can prove it wrong. So believe in fairies and goblins and brownies and whatever else you see in your head, cause that’s what living is about, believing in the impossible and living the improbable. Sayonara people... I'll see ya around ^_^
